US Sales Opportunity


In the ultra competitive market of global electronics distribution, Horizon Technology is taking the lead. Horizon trades in the commodity market, but their futures contracts are for storage and display products that support the manufacturing and after-market service responsibilities of Fortune 500 consumer electronics companies.

Horizon Technology’s unconventional approach to distribution has led to double digit growth year after year, but management acknowledges that no asset is more crucial to their success than the talent they hire and groom.

Horizon is looking to fill an OEM Account Manager position for the North American footprint. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Developing new customer accounts through outbound phone calls
  • Identifying new business opportunities to increase market share and revenue growth
  • Building long-term executive/client relationships
  • Communicating with management through reports of sales activities, sales forecasts and quarterly business.

The most qualified candidates will demonstrate the following:

Horizon Technology applies a “Dream Big” philosophy to the professional development of their employees. Total possible compensation is directly correlated to out-bound (phone) sales effort, and six figure earnings are commonplace.

International Sales Position

Horizon is looking to fill a European Account Manager position, who will handle major European OEM and Contract Manufacturing customers. This position is ideal for a candidate looking for an international sales opportunity where some travel will be involved. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to expand their career into the global market.

Level 1 Display Integrator

Horizon Technology is currently looking for a Display Integrator to grow the Horizon Display division (www.horizondisplay.com).


Horizon Display is the latest brand to be added to the successful Horizon Technology line up. Once just a division of Horizon Technology, Horizon Display has done such a superb job of delivering quality products and providing the quickest inquiry-to-implementation lead times. Horizon Display specializes in large format touch screen displays used in retail storefronts, kiosks, digital signage and self service applications.


Responsibilities:


A Level 1 Display Integrator is responsible for:

  • Integrating display solutions according to each Horizon specified process
  • Compiling and documenting all work performed
  • Following a specified production schedule
  • Meeting all production time standards and keeping the department manager informed of all department issues
  • Will report to the Horizon Display Operations Manager
  • Providing proper daily information of productivity
  • Cleanliness of workspace and may include running some daily, weekly or monthly reports.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of warehouse processing, shipping and receiving.
  • Experience and knowledge of assembly line and light manufacturing.
  • Experience and knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and Visio.
  • Must pass proficiency test for all above requirements.

Sales Support Administrator/Customer Service Representative

Horizon Technology is currently looking for a Sales Support Administrator/Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic team!
The Sales Support Administrator/Customer Service Representative will be responsible for all communication and material flow from Horizon to the authorized computer test houses. This will include:

  • Communication with the Horizon Operations department to ensure that customer material is shipped in a timely fashion.
  • Daily reports will need to be maintained to clearly track material flow. Those reports will be distributed to the test houses, Horizon Operations, Horizon sales staff, select management, and customers.
  • This person will be 100% accountable for all the test house processes to support the sales team. In addition to the test houses responsibilities, this person’s day will be supplemented with Sales Support tasks if time allows.

This person will also support the Sales Team in various capacities to help ensure customer satisfaction. The position will include the following duties:

  • Order/data entry
  • Completion of sales documents
  • Maintenance of all sales reports
  • Communication with the logistics department for expediting inbound and outbound shipments
  • Running daily reports
  • Updating sales database
  • Answering/distributing incoming phone calls.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who can develop relationships over the phone, has exceptional follow up skills, and has intermediate to advanced Excel skills for tracking and accountability purposes. Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate needs to be self motivated and detail oriented.
  •  Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Candidates must be Microsoft Excel and Word proficient.
  •  College degree is preferred but not required.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

  • Processing daily Accounts Receivable invoices including printing and mailing
  • Maintaining all filing for customers/suppliers and Accounts Payable paid files.
  • May assist the CFO and Controller on various projects.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
