Horizon Technology, a distributor of previously used computer storage, has acquired a small competitor in Oklahoma for an undisclosed price.

Horizon, in Lake Forest , already distributes recertified hard drives from Western Digital, a computer hard-drive maker also in Lake Forest . Its purchase of K- Tronics International makes Horizon one of the largest distributors of used hard drives, the company said.

The privately owned Horizon, which had $35.4 million in revenues last year, also sells new drives from all the major manufacturers, plus LCD display products. K- Tronics ' two employees will continue to operate the business in Oklahoma . They join Horizon's 30 employees, 25 of whom are in Orange County .
