Horizon Technology, an independent distributor specializing in information storage and display products, has been selected by Citigroup Inc. to design and manufacture LCD kits to retrofit existing CRT screens for its ATM machines across North America.
Citigroup placed an initial order that will be delivered by Horizon this month.
The customized LCD kits will cover several size applications and includes an LCD screen, controller board, inverter, OSD board and all cables necessary to make field replacement of the existing CRT monitors fast and easy, Horizon said.

Horizon will provide Citigroup with design and engineering support that will include matching optical, mechanical and electrical requirements to display components then programming the controller board to optimize performance.
