Horizon Technology Signs On to NEC Display Solutions Integration Select Program

Horizon Technology, an ISO 9001:2000 certified integrator specializing in display solutions, announced it has been authorized by NEC Display Solutions to participate in the NEC Display Solutions Integration Select program.

The NEC program provides customers with NEC LCD monitors integrated with various upgrades by authorized NEC Display Solutions Select Integrators. The upgraded monitors, ranging in size from 17" to 46", are used in various applications including digital signage, kiosk, POS, retail, financial, military, medical, and industrial installations.

Horizon's range of display solutions provided for the NEC monitors include touch screen integration from 17" to 57"; includes SAW, optical, capacitive, and resistive technology; and security glass integration.

Recent product additions for Horizon include both optical and SAW touch screens integrated into the NEC 32", 40", and 46" LCD monitors. The SAW touch screens are integrated behind the existing monitor bezel maintaining the original monitor design. The large touch monitors complement Horizon's full suite of touch screen solutions by augmenting its Digital Signage offerings with technology, the company noted in a release.
